Good oyster mushroom cultivation is needed in order to meet the needs of alternative nutritional intake. One thing that needs to be considered in oyster mushroom cultivation is the growth medium. The oyster mushroom growth media used generally uses sawdust. One of the substrates that can be used as an alternative in oyster mushroom cultivation is corncob waste. This research was conducted using a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with 5 treatment levels, namely: J0 = 100% sawdust. J1 = 100% corncob powder. J2 = 75% sawdust + 25% corncob powder. J3 = 50% sawdust + 50% corncob powder. J4 = 25% sawdust + 75% corncob powder. The results of this study showed that the formulation of corncob powder media had no significant effect on the growth and production of brown oyster mushrooms which included mycelium growth in covering the substrate/bag, the age of the fruit caps, the diameter of the fruit caps, the number of fruit caps and wet weight. The better treatment in increasing the wet weight of the harvest was the J0 treatment (100% sawdust control). The formulation that was better in increasing the mycelum in covering the substrate was in the J2 treatment (75% sawdust + 25% corn cob powder) with an average in the 6th observation, namely 18.65 cm. The better treatment in increasing the wet weight of the harvest was the J0 treatment (100% sawdust control).en_US
