dc.description.abstractKesimpulan penulis dalam tulisan ini meliputi: 1. PT. Dharma Bandar Mandala Medan berdiri pada tahun 1968 yang pada awalnya hanya melakukan kegiatan penjualan tiket pesawat terbang saja. Seiringnya waktu berjalan perusahaan mengalami perkembangan dalam usahanya. Pada tahun 1990 perusahaan bergerak dibidang ticketing dan travel yang menangani adventure tours, selain itu juga melakukan usaha jasa pengiriman barang. 2. Pada PT. Dharma Bandar Mandala Medan, motivasi yang diberikan oleh p1mpman kepada karyawan sudah mampu meningkatkan prestasi kerja karyawan. 3. Dalam meningkatkan prestasi kerja karyawan, perusahaan menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode motivasi positif dan motivasi negatif: a. Penerapan motivasi positif antara lain denga cara pemberian:. 1. Kesempaan mengikuti Job Opening Jabatan 2. Diberi kesempatan mengikuti pendidikan 3. Pemberian insentif I bonus 4. Diberi kesempatan bertemu dengan jajaran direksi guna menerima penghargaan. b. Motivai negatif terhadap pekerja, berupa: 1. Penurunan golongan. 2. Penurunan jabatan. 3. Pengurangan penghasilan 4. Pemutusan hubungan kerja. The author's conclusions in this paper include: 1. PT. Dharma Bandar Mandala Medan was founded in 1968 which in Initially, they only sold airplane tickets. Over time, the company experienced a deep development his efforts. In 1990 the company engaged in ticketing and travel that handles adventure tours, besides that it also does business services delivery of goods. 2. At PT. Dharma Bandar Mandala Medan, motivation given by management to employees has been able to improve work performance employee. 3. In improving employee performance, companies use two methods namely the method of positive motivation and negative motivation: a. Application of positive motivation, among others, by way of giving:. 1. Opportunity to take part in the Job Opening Position 2. Given the opportunity to follow education 3. Provision of incentives I bonuses 4. Given the opportunity to meet with the board of directors to receive award. b. Negative motivation towards workers, in the form of: 1. Class demotion. 2. Demotion. 3. Reduction of income 4. Termination of employment.en_US
