Abstract: Pembahasan skripsi ini tentang kasus penyelesaian sengketa tanah warisan yang dikuasai oleh cucu dari saudara perempuan tiri pada suku karo di desa sukadame dan kantor veteran kabupaten Tanah Karo. Permasalahan yang sering ditemukan pada suku karo adalah adanya perbedaan hak antara anak laki-laki dan perempuan mengenai pembagian harta warisan sehingga sering timbul perselisihan diantara saudara kandung maupun saudara tiri didaerah Kabupaten Tanah Karo The discussion of this thesis is about inheritance land dispute resolution cases which is ruled by the grandson of a half-sister of the Karo tribe in the village sukadame and the Tanah Karo district veterans office. The problem that is often found in the karo tribe is existence differences in rights between boys and girls regarding the distribution of assets inheritance so that disputes often arise between siblings and siblings half brother in the area of Tanah Karo Regency
