Pengaruh Interaksi Teman Sebaya dan Harga Diri Terhadap Kecerdasan Moral Siswa SMK Negeri 13 Medan

Abstract

Kecerdasan moral sangat dibutuhkan oleh setiap individu di tengah derasnya arus perkembangan zaman dengan segala bentuk tuntutan dan persaingan global yang semakin ketat. Siswa SMK sebagai remaja yang terus berkembang dihadapkan dengan berbagai tantangan zaman yang terus mengiringi perkembangannya menjadi individu yang dewasa dan sukses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh interaksi sosial dan harga diri terhadap kecerdasan moral siswa di SMK Negeri 13 Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional yang bertujuan unutk mengetahui pengaruh antar variabel. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMK Negeri 13 Medan berjumlah 1200 orang. Sampel diambil secara random sebanyak 10% dari jumlah populasi, yaitu 121 orang. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket tentang interaksi sosial, harga diri, dan kecerdasan moral yang didesain dengan Skala Likert. Data dianlaisis menggunakan teknik regresi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil anlaisis, diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1) Ada pengaruh interaksi teman sebaya terhadap kecerdasan moral. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai tx1 y sebesar 2,862 > 1,657 dengan p < 0,05 dan nilai r sebesar 0,259 (25,9%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin baik interaksi dengan teman sebaya maka akan semakin meningkatkan kecerdasan moral siswa. 2) Ada pengaruh harga diri terhadap kecerdasan moral. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai tx2 y 4,213 > 1,657 dengan p < 0.05, dan nilai r sebesar 0,311 (31,1%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi harga diri siswa akan semakin meningkatkan kecerdasan moralnya. 3) Ada pengaruh interaksi teman sebaya dan harga diri terhadap kecerdasan moral. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh Fhitung = 32.500 > 2,29 dengan p < 0.05, dan koefisien korelasi R = 0.597 dengan p < 0.05 dan R2 = 0.356 (35,6%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa interaksi teman sebaya dan harga diri secara bersama-sama berpengeruh terhadap kecerdasan moral siswa SMK Negeri 13 Medan. Pengaruh kedua variabel secara bersama-sama memunculkan kecerdasan moral sebesar 35,6% . Moral intelligence is needed by every individual in the midst of the swift currents of the times with all forms of demands and increasingly fierce global competition. Vocational High School students as teenagers who continue to develop are faced with various challenges of era continue up to accompany their process of mature and of successful individuals. This study aims to reveal the effect of social interaction and self-esteem on the moral intelligence of students at SMK Negeri 13 Medan. The research method applied her is correlational research to determine the effect among variables. The research population was 1200 students of SMK Negeri 13 Medan. The samples were taken randomly as much as 10% of the total population, namely 121 people. The research instrument is a questionnaire on social interaction, self-esteem, and moral intelligence designed with a Likert Scale. Data were analyzed using multiple regression technique. Based on the results of the analysis, the following research results are obtained: 1) There is the influence of peer interaction on moral intelligence. This is indicated by the tx1y value of 2.862 > 1.657 with p < 0.05 and the r value of 0.259 (25.9%). Thus it can be concluded that the better the interaction with peers, the more students' moral intelligence will increase. 2) There is an influence of self-esteem on moral intelligence. This is indicated by the tx2y value of 4.213 >1.657 with p < 0.05, and the r value of 0.311 (31.1%). Thus it can be concluded that the higher the self-esteem of students, the higher their level of moral intelligence. 3) There is an influence of peer interaction and self-esteem on moral intelligence. This is indicated by Fcount = 32.500 > 2.29 with p < 0.05, and the correlation coefficient R = 0.597 with p < 0.05 and R2 = 0.356 (35.6%). Thus, it can be concluded that peer interaction and self-esteem together affect the moral intelligence of students at SMK Negeri 13 Medan. The influence of both variables increase the moral intelligence up to 35.6%
