dc.description.abstract | Melon (Cucumis melo L.) merupakan salah satu bahan alternatif konsumsi buah yang digemari masyarakat luas. Sejalan dengan pertumbuhan penduduk, permintaan melon dalam negeri cendrung meningkat setiap tahun. Produksi melon di Indonesi mengalami fluktuasi hasil produksi, pada tahun 2013, 2014 dan 2015 adalah 125.207, 150.365 dan 137.887 ton dan hanya memenuhi kebutuhan nasional sekitar 40%, selebihnya dipenuhi melalui impor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan pupuk organik cair limbah kulit buah pisang kepok terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman melon (Cucumis melo L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor perlakuan yaitu (1) Dosis Kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit terdiri dari 4 taraf, K0= Kontrol, K1= Kompos 10 ton/ha (2,4 kg/plot), K2= Kompos 20 ton/ha(4,8 kg/plot) dan K3= Kompos 30 ton/ha (7,2 kg/plot). (2) Dosis Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Kulit Buah Pisang Kepok terdiri dari 5 taraf, P0= Kontrol, P1= Dosis POC 2,5% (25 ml/liter), P2= Dosis POC 6,5% (65 ml/liter), P3= Dosis POC 8,5% (85 ml/liter), P4= Dosis POC 10% (100 ml/liter). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap perlakuan K2 terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang , dan dia meter buah, sedangkan POC kulit pisang kapok hanya berpengaruh nyata pada perlakuan P4 terhadap bobot tanaman per plot. Kombinasi kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan POC kulit buah pisang kepok berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot buah tanaman melon per plot dengan nilai tertinggi pada perlakuan K3P4 yaitu 6,15 Kg/plot.
