dc.description.abstract | Kinerja pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang menurun menjadi gambaran bahwa semangat kerja pegawai mengalami penurunan sehingga para pegawai tidak mampu bekerja dengan baik. Unsur lingkungan kerja yang masih kurang seperti kurangnya sirkulasi udara yang dapat menurunkan semangat kerja. Di samping itu terlihat dari masih lambatnya penyelesaian pekerjaan sehingga tidak dapat mencapai sasaran kerja pegawai. Pimpinan pada instansi tersebut telah berupaya meningkatkan semangat kerja dengan menerapkan faktor-faktor harapan yang disertai dengan pemberian pujian bagi pegawai yang bekerja dengan baik, tetapi upaya tersebut masih tergolong tidak berhasil meningkatkan semangat kerja pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap semangat kerja pegawai di Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan pendekatan kuantitaif. Diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja baik secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap semangat kerja pegawai di Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara. The decreasing performance of the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatera Province is an illustration that employee morale has decreased so that employees are not able to work properly. Elements of the work environment that are still lacking, such as lack of air circulation, can reduce morale. In addition, it can be seen from the slow completion of work so that it cannot achieve employee work targets. Leaders in these agencies have tried to improve morale by implementing expectation factors accompanied by giving praise to employees who work well, but these efforts are still classified as unsuccessful in increasing employee morale. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership and work environment on employee morale at the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatera Province. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The conclusion is that the variables of leadership and work environment together have a positive and significant effect on employee morale at the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatera Province. | en_US |
