Efforts to increase soybean production apart from using superior varieties are by utilizing organic materials derived from palm oil industry waste, namely empty palm oil bunches (EFB). This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 treatment factors, namely: The test factor for lowland soybean varieties consisting of 4 soybean seed varieties, namely: V1 = Agromulyo variety, V2 = Anjasmoro variety, V3 = Dena 1 variety. , V4 = Devon 1 variety. The factor for providing empty bunches of compost consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely: K0 = 0 ton/ha (without treatment/control) K1 = 10 ton/ha K2= 20 ton/ha, K3= 30 ton/ha. The results of this study indicate that the treatment of various types of soybean varieties planted in immature oil palm plantations has a very significant effect on the growth of the number of branches, number of main stem nodes, leaf area, pod weight per sample and number of pods per plot, as well as a significant effect on the number of pods per sample, followed by no significant effect on plant height and flowering time. The application of composted oil palm empty fruit bunches had no significant effect on plant height, number of main stem nodes, leaf area, flowering age, pod weight per sample, pod weight per plot and number of pods per sample.en_US
