dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini mencoba menggunakan bahan pengisi filler abu terbang batubara yang diharapkan dapat menambah daya tahan lapisan perkerasan beton aspal terhadap kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh cuaca dan beban arus lalulintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar nilai karakteristik Marshall pada campuran beton aspal dengan menggunakan filler abu terbang batubara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu dengan percobaan untuk mendapatkan hasil, dengan demikian akan terlihat pemanfaatanfiller abu terbang batubara pada konstruksi beton aspal dengan variasi kadar filler 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, dan 8% terhadap total campuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan filler abu terbang batubara akan mempengaruhi karakteristik campuran beton aspal. Semakin banyak filler abu terbang batubara yang digunakan akan meyebabkan nilai stabilitas semakin meningkat. Pada kadar filler abu terbang batubara 4% nilai stabilitas yang didapatkan sebesar 1518.124 kg, pada saat filler abu terbang batubara ditambahkan sampai pada kadar 8%, nilai stabilitas meningkat menjadi 1640.499 kg. nilai fleksibilitas mengalami peningktan seiring pertambahan kadar filler abu terbang batubara 4% sampai 8% menunjukkan bahwa campuran lebih bersifat kaku. Durabilitas campuran mengalami peningkatan seiring penambahan filler abu terbang batubara. Pada saat campuran menggunakan variasi filler abu terbang batubara sebesar 4%, memiliki nilai durabilitas sebesar 91.433%, setelah divariasikan dengan filler abu terbang batubara sampai pada 8%, nilai durabilitas menjadi 95.703%, dengan rata - rata peningkatan sebesar 20%. This research will try to use filler of fly ash coal that expected to add resistance layers asphalt concrete damaging weather and traffic load. The aim of this research is to know Marshall characteristic value on asphalt concrete mixing using fly ash coal. This research use experiment method which attempt to get result, thus the experiment will appear filer's exploit of fly ash coal on asphalt concrete construction with filler contents variation 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, and 8% from the weight mixture. The result of this research shows that the using fly ash coal filler will influence the mixture characteristics of asphalt concrete. Too more of fly ash coal would be used causing the value of stability increase. On fly ash coal rate 4% the value of stability that gotten is 1518.124 kg increase, whwn use fly ash coal rate is added to 8%, the value of stability increases to 1640.499 kg flexibility value value experience increasing along with filler of fly ash coal rate increase. Average increasing is 14,87% of fly ash filler rate 4% to 8% shows that mixing more gets stiff The mixture durability increasing along with filler's rate increase of fly ash coal. When use filler's rate variation of fly ash coal 4%, the durability value is 91.433%, use variation by filler contents of fly ash coal to 8%, durability value increases to 95.703%, with average increasing 20%. | en_US |
