Abstract: Bendung Sungai Ular berlokasi di Sungai Ular sekitar 2 km di sebelah hilir jembatan Serbajadi kecamatan Serbajadi, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. The Ular Headworks on the Ular River located approximately 2 miles downstream of the bridge Serbajadi at Serbajadi districts, Serdang Bedagai. At this time often very high sedimentation accumulation around the building which may affect the capacity of the weir to supply water simultaneously affect the flow of water. This study aimed to determine whether the weir still has the stability of the structure in accordance withth estructural design of safe and stable because of the sedimentation around the weir. In evaluating the stability used the data of hydraulic weir dam that has been there and back calculated the forces acting on the body weir in normal water conditions (EL.43.40) and flood water conditions (EL. 46,273) Q100 = 1.090m3 1s. Based on this security is then calculated from the weir to the weir and stability analysis shows that the overtuning of The Ular Headworks during normal water conditions is 4.10 (> 1.50) and 1. 73 during flood conditions (> 1, 50); Stability Slide (Sliding) ofThe Ular Headworks during normal water conditions was 2.35 (> 1.20) and 0.907 during flood conditions (<1.20); and Land Capability (Bearing Capacity of The Ular Headworks during normal water conditions is CJmax = 1.56 tons I m 2 and CJm;n = 0.93 tons I m 2 (<7.35 tonnes I m 2) and at the time of the flood condition CJmax = 0.88 tonnes I m 2 and CJmin = 0.86 tons I m 2 (<7.35 tonnes I m 2) so that it can be said that of The Ular Headworks is safe against the danger of rolling, sliding, and the bearing capacity that occurs does not exceed the allowable soil stress .
