Medan labuhan, Kota Medan Sumatera Utara. Terletak dekat rel kereta api, di samping PT. Pertamina. Tanah gambut didesa pekan labuhan memiliki kadar air (w) yaitu 125%, Berat Spesifik (Gs) 1.695, angka Pori (e) kadar kapur 0 % =12.53, kadar kapur 2% = 7.04, kadar kapur 5% = 6.25, kadar kapur 8% = 5.88, kadar kapur 10% = 5,52. Adapun Koefisien konsolidasi (Cv) yaitu sampel kadar kapur 0% =1,830, kadar kapur 2% =1.296, kadar kapur 5% =1.049, kadar kapur 8% = 0,698, kadar kapur 10% = 0.395. Gambut soils have very high compressibility, so if they are loaded, a very large settlement will occur in a relatively short time. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of lime on the stability of peat soil, to determine the effect of lime on loading time, to determine the effect of lime on water content and void ratio. This research was carried out through consolidation testing with the addition of lime variants and giving the load gradually. Peat soil samples were taken in the Village of Pekan Labuhan, Kec. Medan port, Medan city, North Sumatra. Located near the railroad tracks, next to PT. Pertamina. The peat soil in Pekanbaru village has a water content (w) of 125%, Specific Weight (Gs) 1.695, Pore number (e) 0% lime content = 12.53, 2% lime content = 7.04, 5% lime content = 6.25, lime content 8% = 5.88, 10% lime content = 5.52. The coefficient of consolidation (Cv) is a sample of 0% lime content = 1.830, 2% lime content = 1.296, 5% lime content = 1.049, 8% lime content = 0.698, lime content 10% = 0.395. The conclusion of this study is that it is concluded from the research results that the higher the lime content mixed, the lower the water content of the peat soil that has been tested and the speed of decline occurs due to the large loading. | en_US |
