Abstract: Penelitian ini berujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan subjective well-being pada remaja di SMA DHARMAWANGSA Medan. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada hubungan yang positif antara dukungan sosial dengan Subjective Well-Being, dengan asumsi semakin tinggi dukungan social pada remaja maka semakin tinggi Subjective Well-Being. Dan sebaliknya semakin rendah dukungan social maka semakin rendah Subjective Well-Being. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 92 orang siswa SMA DHARMAWANGSA Medan dengan menggunakan teknik sampel nonprobability sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala dukungan sosial yang terdiri dari 40 butir dan skala Subjective Well-Being yang terdiri dari 44 butir. Pengolahan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi sebesar 0.9877 dengan p <0,01, hal ini berarti ada korelasi positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan Subjective Well-Being pada remaja di SMA DHARMAWANGSA Medan. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka semakin tinggi Subjective Well-Being. Adapun koefisien determinasi dari korelasi tersebut adalah sebesar R2= 0,458 artinya dukungan sosial memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap prokrastinasi akademik sebesar 45.8 % sedangkan sisanya (54.2%) ditentukan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and subjective well-being of adolescents at SMA DHARMAWANGSA Medan. The hypothesis put forward is that there is a positive relationship between social support and Subjective Well-Being, with the assumption that the higher the social support in adolescents, the higher the Subjective Well-Being. Conversely, the lower the social support, the lower the Subjective Well-Being. The subjects in this study were 92 students of SMA DHARMAWANGSA Medan using non-probability sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a social support scale consisting of 40 items and a Subjective Well-Being Scale consisting of 44 items. The processing of this research data uses the product moment correlation technique from Pearson. The results showed a correlation of 0.9877 with p <0.01, this means that there is a significant positive correlation between social support and Subjective Well-Being in adolescents at SMA DHARMAWANGSA Medan. This means that the higher the social support, the higher the Subjective Well-Being. The coefficient of determination of this correlation is R2 = 0.458, meaning that social support makes an effective contribution to academic procrastination by 45.8%, while family (54.2%) is determined by other variables not examined in this study.
