Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) is a natural product in the form of a tree originating from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia, especially the wilderness of Indonesia or Malaysia. This study aims to determine the effect of adding Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) and Benzyl Adenine Purine (BAP) In Vitro to mangosteen plants. This research method used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 2 factors, namely: Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) which consisted of 3 levels, namely: N1 = NAA concentration of 2 mg/l, N2 = NAA concentration of 4 mg/l , and N3 = NAA concentration of 6 mg/l. Meanwhile, Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) consists of 3 levels, namely B1 = BAP concentration of 2 mg/l, B2 = BAP concentration of 4 mg/l, and B3 = BAP concentration of 6 mg/l. Observational variables include: time of callus formation (days), callus texture, callus color, percentage of live callus (%).The results showed that Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) had a significant effect on each observation parameter. And Benzyl Adenine Purine (BAP) had a significant effect on each observation parameter.
