dc.description.abstract | Karakteristik suatu kekasaran permukaan memegang peranan penting dalam perancangan komponen mesin. Hal tersebut perlu dinyatakan dengan jelas misalnya dalam kaitannya dengan pembubutan dan kekasaran permukaan, pembubutan merupakan bagian dari komponen dan alal produksi unluk menghasilkan sualu benda, yang salah satu bagian permukaannya harus memenuhi standar kekasaran dengan spesifikasi tertentu. Dimana permukaan komponen tersebut diperlukan suatu standar kekasaran permukaan yang ditetapkan dalam perancangan yaitu menurut standar ISO Sebagai master produk pengukuran terhadap nilai kekasaran permukaan perlu dilakukan pengukuran geometrik secara teliti dan akurat dengan memperhatikan nilai ketidakpastian pengukurannya. Dengan analisis dari nilai ukurnya, diharapkan hasil dari proses produksi melalui pemesinan yang dilakukan, seluruh produknya dapat memenuhi persyaratan sesuai dengan spesifikasi teknis yang direncanakan. Dalam penggunaan mesin Bubut CNC TU-2A diharapkan hasil bubutan yang Dihasilkan memiliki Nilai kekasaran permukaan yang sangat kecil, guna menjaga kualitas bahan yang dihasilkan. Characteristics of a surface roughness plays an important role in the design of engine components. It needs to be stated clearly, for example in relation to the lathe and surface roughness, turning a part of components and production equipment to produce an object, which is one part of the surface roughness must comply with specific standards.
