Abstract: | Peningkatan kebutuhan energi setiap tahunnya membutuhkan perhatian yang serius. Hal ini diperlukan untuk mencari penyelesaian masalah energi. Perancangan ruang bakar ketel uap diperlukan analisa dan perhitungan yang teliti, sehingga diperoleh ruang bakar yang efisien. Pada perencanaan ini, diadopsi ketel uap merek Takuma dengan tipe N-600 SA sebagai ketel uap pembanding. Jenis ketel uap ini adalah ketel uap pipa air. Ketel uap diasumsikan menggunakan bahan bakar campuran serat (fibre) dengan cangkang (shell) sawit. Campuran bahan bakar terdiri dari 75 % serat (fibre) dan 25 % cangkang (shell). Sedangkan kapasitas ketel uap 15 ton uap per jam. Pada ruang bakar diasupsikan terjadi perpindahan panas konduksi, konveksi radiasi. Dengan asumsi tersebut diperoleh hasil perencanaan sebagai berikut : Jenis Ketel uap adalah ketel uap pipa air, ruang bakar tungku bawah dengan rangka bakar . Kapasitas kapasitas uap 20 ton uap/jam dibutuhkan bahan bakar 462 km/jam. Besarnya koefisien perpindahan panas menyeluruh adalah U = 70,29 w/m °C. Laju perpindahan panas total Q = 4621096,596 w. Dimensi ruang bakar adalah: (a) lebar =3m, (b) panjang = 4 m, tinggi = 5 m dan kemiringan = 25 °. The increase in energy needs every year requires serious attention. This is necessary to find solutions to energy problems. The design of a steam boiler combustion chamber requires careful analysis and calculations, so that an efficient combustion chamber is obtained. In this plan, a boiler is adopted Takuma brand steam with type N-600 SA as a comparative steam boiler. This type of steam boiler is a water pipe steam boiler. The steam boiler is assumed to use a fuel mixture of fiber and palm shell. The fuel mixture consists of 75% fiber and 25% shell. Whereas steam boiler capacity 15 tons of steam per hour. In the combustion chamber, conduction and convection radiation heat transfer occurs. With these assumptions, the following planning results are obtained: The type of steam boiler is a water pipe steam boiler, a lower furnace combustion chamber with a combustion frame. Steam capacity capacity 20 tonsSteam/hour fuel required is 462 km/hour. The overall heat transfer coefficient is U = 70.29 w/m °C. Total heat transfer rate Q = 4621096.596 w. The dimensions of the combustion chamber are: (a) width = 3m, (b) length = 4 m, height = 5 m and slope = 25 °. |
