Abstract: Penelitian ini dikaji secara mendalam pada runway Kutacane, salah satunya adalah ketebalan perkerasan. Artinya dengan ketebalan tertentu runway tersebut harus mampu menopang beban MTOW (Berat Lepas Landas Maksimum) pesawat udara. Dalam perancangan ketebalan perkerasan runway menggunakan ketebalan perkerasan fleksibel perhitungan dengan metode FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) dan metode LCN (Nomor Klasifikasi Beban). Pada perkerasan ini, desain ketebalan runway menggunakan FAA metode. Dengan menggunakan data Subgrade CBR 5% setelah dilakukan perhitungan hasil perkerasan tebalnya adalah : Surface Course 3 inc =-.• 7,5 cm, Base Course 6 inc =, 15 cm dan Kursus Subbase 4inc = 10 Cllll. Ketebalan perkerasan runway yang dibangun di lapangan sudah sesuai dengan beban rencana. Must deeply study in runway of Kutacane, one of them is pavement thickness. It means by certain thickness the runway should be able to support the MTOW load (Maximum Take Off Weight ) of aircraft. In pavement thickness design of runway use flexible pavement thickness calculation by FAA method (Federal Aviation Administration) and LCN nethod (Load Classification Number). In this pave,ment thickness design of runway use FAA method. By use the CBR Subgrade data 5% after calculated the result of pavement thickness are : Surface Course 3 inc =-.• 7,5 cm, Base Course 6 inc =, 15 cm and Subbase Course 4inc = 10 Clll . The pavement thickness of runway which constructed in the field are conform to the design load.
