dc.description.abstract | Pembangkit daya tenaga uap merupakan perangkat yang berfungsi sebagai penghasil tenaga dengan memanfaatkan energi potensial uap yang diubah menjadi energi kinetis sehingga dapat memberikan kerja mekanik memutar poros dan menghasilkan daya. Perangkat daya tenaga uap ini memiliki siklus yang bias disebut siklus rankine. Artikel ini bertujuan unutk mengetahui pengaruh suhu dan tekanan dalam meningkatkan efisiens temali, kemudian menggambarkan bahwa efisiensi termal mampu memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi kerja pembangkit daya uapdalam menghasilkan daya listrik. Mengetahui metode atau cara dalam meningkatkan efisiensi termal. Cara untuk meningkatkan efisiensi termal rnelalui analisa siklus rankine yaitu,menurunkan tekanan kondensor, meningkatkan temperature uap panas lanjut (superheated) dan meningkatkan tekanan pada boiler. Metode diatas mampu memberikan hasil yang sesuai dengan data literatur yangada, bahwa peningkatan efisiensi termal dipengaruhi oleh suhu dan tekanan,efisiensi termal mampu meinberikan penganih pada kerja pembangkit daya tenaga uap, semakin besar efisiens termal yang dihasilkan, maka semakin besar daya listrik yang dihasilkan.
