dc.description.abstract | Kajian Prestasi Mesin Honda Grand 1995 Menggunakan Bahan Bakar Asetilen". Ir. Amirsyam Nasution, MT, Ir.Husian Ibrahim, MT. Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Medan Area. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prestasi mesin Honda Grand 1995 meliputi besarnya torsi, daya, dan konsumsi bahan bakar terhadap putaran dengan menggunakan bahan bakar asetilen. Manfaat penelitian adalah untuk memberikan informasi tentang torsi, daya dan konsumsi bahan bakar terhadap putaran dengan menggunakan bahan bakar asetilen yang dihasilkan oleh motor bensin empat langkah satu silinder khususnya pada Honda Grand 1995. Penelitian secara eksperimental dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Pengambilan data menggunakan sepeda motor Honda grand 1995 standar, hasilnya berupa data gaya pada load cell diukur dari penarikan puli differential dynamometer, putaran mesin serta waktu konsumsi yang kemudian diolah menghasilkan data torsi, daya dan konsumsi bahan bakar secara ekonomi. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan bahan bakar premium adalah torsi tertinggi sebesar 0,7535 kgf.m pada putaran mesin 5500 rpm, dengan daya 5,7835 HP, konsumsi bahan bakar secara ekonomi termurah sebesar 1599,210 Rp/h pada putaran mesin 3000 rpm, dan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik secara ekonomi paling irit sebesar 479,554 Rp/HP-h pada putaran mesin 5500 rpm. Penggunaan bahan bakar asetilen dengan hasil torsi tertinggi sebesar 0, 7926 kgf.m pada putaran mesin 5500 rpm, dengan daya 6,0836 HP, konsumsi bahan bakar secara ekonomi (nyata) termurah sebesar 4928,806 Rp/h pada putaran mesin 3000 rpm, teori 4688,280 Rp/h dan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik secara ekonomi (nyata) paling irit sebesar 1220,616 Rp/HP-h pada putaran mesin 5500 rpm, teori 1161,050 Rp/HPh. Simpulan dari penelitian ini pada penggunaan bahan bakar asetilen bila dibandingkan dengan menggunakan bahan bakar premium adalah terjadi kenaikan torsi maksimum sebesar 5,90 % pada putaran mesin 4500 rpm, dengan daya 5,90 %, konsumsi' bahan bakar secara ekonomi (nyata) minimum sebesar 162,4 %, teori 149,6 % dan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik secara ekonomi (nyata) 147,8 %, teori 135,7 %. Perhitungan pada penggunaan konsumsi bahan bakar secara ekonomi pada bahan bakar asetilen secara nyata terhadap teori terjadi kenaikan sebesar 5,1 %. The purpose ofthis study was to determine the performance engine 1995 Honda Grand include the amount of torque, power, and fuel consumption of the round by using acetylene fuel. Benefits of the research is to provide information about the torque, power and fuel consumption of the round by using acetylene fuel produced by the motor gasoline four-stroke single-cylinder Honda Grand especially 1995. Experimental research using descriptive analysis. Retrieval of data using a 1995 Honda motorcycle grand standard, the result is the data measured by the force on the load cell of withdrawal pulleys differential dynamometer, the engine speed and the time consumption which is then processed to produce data of torque, power and fuel consumption in the economy. The results of the study by using premium fuel is high of 0.7535 kgf.m torque at engine speed of 5,500 rpm, with power 5.7835 HP, fuel consumption at the lowest economic 1599.210 USD I hat 3000 rpm engine speed, and specific fuel consumption is the most economically efficient for 479.554 USD I HP-hat 5500 rpm engine speed. The use of acetylene fuel with the highest yield of 0. 7926 kgf.m torque at engine speed of 5,500 rpm, with power 6.0836 HP, fuel consumption in the economy (real) for the cheapest 4928.806 USD I h at 3000 rpm engine speed, 4688.280 theory Rp I h and specific fuel consumption in the economy (real) most economical of 1220.616 USD I HP-hat 5500 rpm engine speed, Rp 1161.050 theory I concessions. The conclusions of this study on the use of acetylene fuel when compared to using premium fuel is an increase in maximum torque of 5.90% at 4500 rpm engine speed, with a 5.90% power, fuel consumption in the economy (real) minimum of 162 , 4%, 149.6% theory and specific fuel consumption in the economy (real) 147.8%, 135.7% theory. Calculations on the use of fuel consumption on fuel economy acetylene significantly to the theory of an increase of 5 .1 %. | en_US |
