Abstract: | Perbedaan latar belakang individu yaitu usia dan masa kerja pegawai pada suatu instansi, tentu saja secara psikologis akan menimbulkan perilaku yang berbeda pada masing-masing individu. Faktor usia dan masa kerja yang dimiliki pekerja sangat berpengaruh sekali dalam menjalankan aktivitas kerjanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perbedaan komitmen organisasi pegawai berdasarkan usia dan masa kerja pada Kantor Kepala Desa Bakaran Batu, Kecamatan Sei Bamban, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Variabel bebas terdiri dari usia pegawai (X1) dan masa kerja pegawai (X2), sedangkan variabel terikat adalah komitmen organisasi pegawai. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah pegawai Kantor Kepala Desa Bakaran Batu. Dengan jumlah populasi yang sedikit maka sampel pada penelitian ini adalah metode sampel jenuh, dimana semua populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 39 responden dimana semua populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Analisis data menggunakan analisis uji statistik independent t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan komitmen organisasi pegawai berdasarkan usia pegawai pada Kantor Kepala Desa Bakaran Batu, Kecamatan Sei Bamban, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, dimana pegawai dengan usia lebih matang ( 40 tahun) memiliki komitmen oragnisasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan usia yang lebih muda (< 40 tahun). Terdapat perbedaan komitmen organisasi pegawai berdasarkan masa kerja pada Kantor Kepala Desa Bakaran Batu, Kecamatan Sei Bamban, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, dimana pegawai dengan masa kerja yang lebih lama ( 10 tahun) memiliki komitmen pegawai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan masa kerja yang lebih singkat (< 10 tahun) Differences in individual backgrounds, namely the age and years of service of employees in an agency, of course, psychologically will cause different behavior in each individual. Factors of age and years of service owned by workers are very influential in carrying out their work activities. This study aims to identify and analyze differences in employee organizational commitment based on age and years of service at the Office of the Head of Bakaran Batu Village, Sei Bamban District, Serdang Bedagai District. The independent variable consists of the employee's age (X1) and the employee's tenure (X2), while the dependent variable is the employee's organizational commitment. In this study, the object of this research were the employees of the Bakaran Batu Village Head Office. With a small population, the sample in this study is the saturated sample method, where the entire population is used as a sample. The number of samples used was 39 respondents where all populations were used as samples. Data analysis used independent t-test statistical analysis. The results showed that there were differences in employee organizational commitment based on employee age at the Office of the Head of Bakaran Batu Village, Sei Bamban District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, where employees with a more mature age (> 40 years) had higher organizational commitment compared to younger ages. (< 40 years). There are differences in employee organizational commitment based on years of service at the Office of the Head of Bakaran Batu Village, Sei Bamban District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, where employees with longer tenure (> 10 years) have higher employee commitment than those with shorter tenure ( < 10 years) |
