Perbandingan Morfometri Ikan Lundu (Macrones Gulio H.) di Perairan Percut Sei Tuan dan Perairan Pantai Cermin Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai ikan lundu (Macrones gulio H.) sampai saat ini masih terfokus kepada pembahasan kebiasaan makan dan reproduksi, keanekaragaman, morfologi dan fisiologi ikan. Penelitian mengenai morfometrik dipandang penting karena variasi morfometrik suatu populasi pada kondisi geografis yang berbeda dapat disebabkan oleh perbedaan struktur genetik dan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan morfometri ikan lundu di perairan Percut Sei Tuan dan perairan Pantai Cermin Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode observasi kuantitatif. Analisis statistik dengan regresi linear sederhana, perbedaan morfometri ikan lundu dari kedua daerah dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada korelasi diantara semua variabel morfometri (X) dengan berat (Y) ikan lundu (Macrones gulio H.) yang berasal dari perairan Percut Sei Tuan dan perairan Pantai Cermin pada garis pertumbuhan yang sama, persamaan regresi variabel antara berat dengan morfometrik yang korelasinya sangat kuat (r > 0.9) adalah Percut Y = 0.43X-31 dan Pantai Cermin Y= 0.38X1-26.61 dimana Y adalah berat ikan (gram) dan X1 adalah panjang total (mm), tidak ada perbedaan nyata rata-rata berat ikan di kedua lokasi tersebut. Research on lundu fish (Macrones gulio H.) is still focused on discussing eating habits and reproduction, diversity, morphology and physiology of fish. Research on morphometrics is considered important because variations in morphometrics of a population in different geographical conditions can be caused by differences in genetic and environmental structures. The aim of this study was to determine the morphometry comparison of the lundu fish in Percut Sei Tuan waters and the waters of Cermin Beach, North Sumatra. The method used is quantitative observation method. Statistical analysis with simple linear regression, differences in morphometrics of the lundu fish from the two regions using the t test. The research results show there is a correlation between all the morphometric variabels (X) with the weight (Y) of the lundu fish (Macrones gulio H.) originating from Percut Sei Tuan waters and the waters of Cermin Beach on the same growth line, the variabel regression equation between weight and morphometrics has a very strong correlation (r > 0.9), namely Percut Y = 0.43X-31.2 and Pantai Cermin Y=0.38X1-26.61 where Y is the weight of the fish (grams) and X1 is the total length (mm), there is no significant difference in the average weight of the fish in the two locations
