Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk saluran pemasaran dari petani/produsen hingga pengguna akhir dan fungsi pemasaran yang dilakukan di Pepaya California di Desa Runding Kecamatan Panyabungan Barat Mandailing Natal, menganalisis marjin pemasaran dan farmer share pada pepaya California di Desa Runding Kecamatan Panyabungan Barat Mandailing Natal dan mengetahui profitabilitas usahatani pepaya California di Desa Runding, Kecamatan Panyabungan Barat, Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Penentuan lokasi penelitian ini secara purposive (sengaja) dengan alasan penentuan lokasi penelitian karena di daerah ini merupakan salah satu daerah produksi pepaya dan kelompok tani yang aktif membudidayakan pepaya California. Jumlah sampel petani pada penelitian ini sebanyak 17 orang, sedangkan pedagang sebanyak 8 orang terdiri dari pedagang pengumpul sebanyak 5 orang, pedagang besar 1 orang dan pedagang pengecer sebanyak 2 orang. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan analisis R/C. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saluran pemasaran yang terdapat di desa Runding, Kecamatan Panyabungan Barat terdiri dari 2 saluran pemasaran yaitu saluran pemasaran (1) petani  pedagang pengumpul  pedagang pengecer  konsumen dan saluran pemasaran (2) petani  pedagang pengumpul  pedagang besar  pedagang pengecer  konsumen. Saluran pemasaran I, besarnya share margin yang diterima oleh pedagang sebesar 38,33 %, sedangkan yang diterima oleh petani 61,67 %. Pada saluran II besarnya share margin yang diterima oleh pedadang sebesar 30,92 %, sedangkan share margin yang diterima oleh petani 58,33 %. Usahatani pepaya California di Desa Runding, Kecamatan Panyabungan Barat layak dilakukan secara ekonomis karena nilai rasio R/C sebesar 2,40 > 1, artinya dengan mengeluarkan modal sebesar 1 satuan diperoleh penerimaan sebesar 2,40. This study aims to analyze the form of marketing channels from farmers/producers to end users and the marketing functions carried out in Papaya California in Runding Village, Panyabungan Barat District, Mandailing Natal, analyze marketing margins and farmer share on California papayas in Runding Village, Panyabungan Barat District, Mandailing Natal. and knowing the profitability of California papaya farming in Runding Village, Panyabungan Barat District, Mandailing Natal. Determination of the location of this research purposively with the reason for determining the location of the study because this area is one of the papaya production areas and farmer groups are actively cultivating California papaya. The number of samples of farmers in this study were 17 people, while the traders were 8 people, consisting of 5 collectors, 1 wholesaler and 2 retailers. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and R/C analysis. The results showed that the marketing channels in Runding village, Penyabungan Barat District consist of 2 marketing channels, namely marketing channels (1) farmers collectors retailers consumers and marketing channels (2) farmers collectors wholesalers traders retailer consumer. Marketing channel I, the share margin received by traders is 38.33%, while that received by farmers is 61.67%. In channel II, the share margin received by traders is 30.92%, while the share margin received by farmers is 58.33%. California papaya farming in Runding Village, Panyabungan Barat District is economically feasible because the R/C ratio value is 2.40 > 1, meaning that by spending 1 unit of capital, an income of 2.40 is obtained.
