Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh self regulated learning dan religiusitas terhadap student engagement di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Muallimin Univa Medan. Student engagement adalah keterlibatan siswa dalam berpartisipasi pada setiap kegiatan rutin maupun program sekolah, baik di dalam dan di luar kelas dengan indikator perilaku, emosional, dan kognitif. Hipotes yang diajukan yaitu ada pengaruh positif antara self regulated learning dan religiusitas terhadap student engagement. Tekni sampling dengan total sampling, sampel berjumlah 189 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Self Regulated learning, religiusitas, dan skala student engagement. Metode analisis data adalah regresi berganda. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil determinan (Rxy) = 0,804 dengan p = 0.000 < 0.050, artinya ada pengaruh positif self regulated learning dan religiusitas terhadap student engagement, semakin tinggi self regulated learning dan semakin tinggi religiusitas, maka semakin tinggi student engagement. Sumbangan self regulated learning dan religiusitas terhadap student engagement sebesar 64,6%. Dengan demikian, masih terdapat 35,4% pengaruh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. This study aims to determine the effect of self regulated learning and religiosity on student engagement at Madrasah Aliyah Private Muallimin Univa Medan. Student engagement is the involvement of students in participating in every routine activity and school program, both inside and outside the classroom with behavioral, emotional, and cognitive indicators. The hypothesis put forward is that there is a positive effect between self-regulated learning and religiosity on student engagement. Sampling technique with total sampling, a sample of 189 students. This study uses the Self Regulated learning scale, religiosity, and student engagement scale. The data analysis method is multiple regression. Based on the data analysis performed, the determinant result (Rxy) = 0.804 is obtained with p = 0.000 <0.050, meaning that there is a positive effect of self regulated learning and religiosity on student engagement, the higher self regulated learning and the higher religiosity, the higher student engagement. . The contribution of self regulated learning and religiosity to student engagement is 64.6%. Thus, there is still 35.4% of the influence of other factors not examined in this study.
