Analisis Konsep Self-Love Tokoh Rara dalam Film Imperfect (Karier, Cinta & Timbangan) Karya Ernest Prakarsa (Analisis Naratif Tzvetan Todorov)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengimplementasian konsep self love dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dalam hal yang positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dari narasumber. Hasil penelitian ini dapat ditemukan bahwa adanya gangguan yang dialami tokoh Rara dalam menerapkan konsep self love yang terganggu disebabkan karier yang ia dambakan. Konsep self love Tokoh Rara pada film berupa Self awareness, self worth, self esteem, dan self care. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis narasi pada teks dialog dalam film diantaranya : Equilibrium (Kondisi Awal, Disruption Of The Equilibrium (Keseimbangan Terganggu), Recognition Of The Distruption (Kesadaran akan Terjadinya Ganguan), An Ettempt To Repair The Damage (Kesadaran untuk memperbaiki masalah yang ditimbulkan) dan New Equilibrium (Keadaan Kembali Seperti Semula Dengan Versi Yang Lebih Baik). Hasil Penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pengimplementasian self love Rara terealisasikan dengan baik, berawal dari kondisi ia tidak percaya diri, kemudian ia mulai mengubah persepsi tentang self love, hingga sampai ia harus menerima kembali namun dari sisi lain, baik secara teori maupun aplikatif pada konsep self love itu sendiri. This research aims to determine the implementation of the concept of self-love in daily life in a positive thing. This research uses qualitative methods by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation from sources. The results of this research can be found that the disturbance experienced by the character Rara in applying the concept of self-love is disturbed due to the career she dreams of. Rara's character's concept of self love in the film is self awareness, self worth, self worth, and self care. This research also analyzes narratives in dialogue texts in films based on Tzvetan Todorov’s theory of narrative analysis. The research results also show that Rara's implementation of self-love was realized well, starting from a condition where she was not confident, then she began to change her perception of self-love, until she had to accept it again but from another side, both theoretically and applied to the concept of self-love itself.
