Hubungan antara Religiusitas dengan Altruisme pada Siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara religiusitas dengan altruisme pada siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala religiusitas dan skala altruisme dimana yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Medan yang berjumlah 104 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis data korelasi Pearson Product Moment, maka dapat diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara religiusitas dengan altruisme. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,437; p = 0,000 < 0,05, yang menyatakan bahwa religiusitas berkontribusi terhadap altruisme sebesar 19,10%. Dengan demikian dapat diketahui bahwa masih terdapat 80,90% kontribusi dari faktor lain pada altruisme yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian dan tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian diketahui siswa memiliki religiusitas yang tergolong tinggi dengan mean empirik = 145,759 > mean hipotetik = 107,500 dimana selisi kedua mean melebihi bilangan SD = 14,197, begitu juga dengan altruisme siswa tergolong tinggi dengan mean empiric = 118,183 > mean hipotetik = 92,500 dimana selisih kedua mean melebihi bilangan SD = 14,631. Dari hasil penelitian ini, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to see the correlation between religiosity and altruism in students at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Medan. This study used a scale of religiosity and scale of altruism where the subjects in this study were students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Medan, a total of 104 students. This study used the data analysis method of Pearson Product Moment correlation, so the following results can be obtained: there is a significant positive correlation between religiosity and altruism. This result is proven by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.437; p = 0.000 <0.05, that religiosity contributes to altruism by 19.10%. Thus, it can be seen that there is still 80.90% contribution from other factors in altruism that are not explained and researched in this study. The study proves that students have high religiosity with mean empiric of 145.759 higher than hypothetical mean of 107.500 where the difference between the two means exceeds the SD of 14.197, the same is true for the students whose altruism is rated as high with mean empiric of 118.183 is higher than hypothetical mean of 92.500 where the difference between the two exceeds the SD of 14.631. From the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.
