Populasi sebanyak 93 orang. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and body image in middle age women in Bandar Tengah Village. The population is 93 people. The sampling technique is a purposive sampling technique. The body image scale was compiled by researchers based on the aspects put forward by (Cash & Pruzinsky, 2002), namely: appearance evaluation, appearance orientation, body area satisfaction, overweight preoccupation (anxiety). being fat), self-classified weight (categorizing body parts). The family support scale in this study was measured based on aspects of family support according to Kaplan (2010) consisting of: Emotional Support, Instrumental Support, Informational Support, Appraisal Support. Based on the calculation results of product moment correlation analysis, it can be seen that there is a positive relationship between family support and body image. This result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.834, with a significant p = 0.000 <0.05. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2= 0.696. This shows that family support is distributed at 69.60% of body image.en_US
