Abstract: Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya minat belajar siswa dilihat dari prestasi akademik siswa. Kurangnya tanggung jawab orang tua dalam mendidik anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh permisif orang tua dengan minat belajar siswa SMA PAB 4 SAMPALI. Peneitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA PAB 4 SAMPALI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan Teknik kolerasi. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 120 siswa, menggunakan teknik Insidental sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunkan skala pola asuh permisif dan skala minat belajar. Uji validitas menggunakan Teknik korelasi product moment dari Karl person. Uji realibilitas menggunakan Teknik Alpa Cronbach’s alpha. Uji normalitas data menunjukan kedua variabel memiliki ditribusi normal, yaitu pada variabel pola asuh permisif nilai signifikan 0,098 > 0,5 dan pada minat belajar nilai signifikan 0,083 > 0,05 . Untuk uji lineritasnya menunjukan kedua variabel linear, yaitu dengan nilai signifikan 0,349 > 0,05. Teknik analis data menggunkan Teknik analisis kolerasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat kesimpulan 1. Terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara pola asuh permisif dengan minat belajar siswa SMA PAB 4 SAMPALI dengan nilai koefisien kolerasi sebesar – 0,559. 2. Sebagian besar siswa SMA PAB 4 SAMPALI memiliki tingkat minat belajar pada katagori sedang sebanyak 120 sisiwa dengan persentase 31,2 %. The problem in this study is the low interest in student learning seen from student academic achievement. Lack of parental responsibility in educating children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between permissive parenting by parents and the learning interest of SMA PAB 4 SAMPALI students. This research was carried out at SMA PAB 4 SAMPALI. This study uses a quantitative research approach with correlation techniques. Until the study amounted to 120 students, using a incidental sampling technique. Data collection uses a permissive parenting scale and an interest in learning scale. Test the validity of using the product moment correlation technique from Karl person. Reliability test using Cronbach's alpha technique. The data normality test shows that both variables have a normal distribution, namely the permissive parenting variable has a significant value of 0.098 > 0.5 and an interest in learning a significant value of 0.083 > 0.05. The linearity test shows both linear variables, with a significant value of 0.349 > 0.05. The data analysis technique uses the product moment correlation analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1. There is a significant negative relationship between permissive parenting and the learning interest of SMA PAB 4 SAMPALI students with a correlation coefficient of -0.559. 2. The majority of SMA PAB 4 SAMPALI students have a level of interest in learning in the medium category of 120 students with a percentage of 31.2%
