Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Hubungan Antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Motivasi Belajar pada siswa, dimana yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi kelas X,XI,XII SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Prapat. Penyebaran skala Dukungan Sosial dengan Motivasi Belajar menggunakan skala Likert. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Korelasi Product Moment. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis r Product Moment dengan nilai atau koefisien (Rxy) = 0.517 dan koefisien determinan (R2) = 0.268 dengan P = 0.000 0.05. Hasil ini menunjukkan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan diterima, yaitu ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi belajar. Artinya semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui perhitungan koefisien determinan (R2) = 0.268 menunjukkan dukungan sosial membentuk motivasi belajar sebesar 26.80% . Selanjutnya dukungan sosial yang diterima oleh siswa dalam kategori tinggi melalui perhitungan mean hipotetik = 77,5 dan mean empirik = 102.613. Selisihnya melebihi standar deviasi = 9.295, dan motivasi belajar dalam kategori tinggi dilihat dari perhitungan mean hipotetik = 65 dan mean empirik = 82.293 selisihnya melebihi standar deviasi = 7.624 This study aims to look at the relationship between social support and learning motivation in students, where the subjects in this study are students of classes X, XI, XII SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Prapat. The distribution of the Social Support scale with Learning Motivation uses a Likert scale. The data analysis method used in this research is Correlation-Product Moment. Based on the calculation of r Product Moment analysis with the value or coefficient (Rxy) = 0.517 and the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.268 with P = 0.000 <0.05. These results indicate that this research is accepted, namely there is a relationship between social support and learning motivation. This means that the higher the social support, the higher the student learning motivation. This is evidenced through the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.268, indicating that social support shapes learning motivation by 26.80%. Furthermore, the social support received by students in the high category through the calculation of the hypothetical mean = 77.5 and the empirical mean = 102.613. The difference exceeds the standard deviation = 9.295, and learning motivation in the high category is seen from the calculation of the hypothetical mean = 65 and the empirical mean = 82.293 the difference exceeds the standard deviation = 7.624.
