Efektivitas Program Pariwisata dalam Mengurangi Pengangguran pada Balai Besar Pelatihan Vokasi dan Produktivitas Kota Medan

Abstract

Untuk mengatasi pengangguran di Indonesia pemerintah membuat Balai Pelatihan Vokasi dan Produktivitas (BBPVP) yang dimulai tahun 1971. BBPVP Kota Medan memiliki tugas pokok yaitu melakukan perubahan peningkatan kapasitas dan kapabilitas untuk melakukan peningkatan pelatihan kerja bagi angkatan kerja Indonesia agar mampu mengisi permintaan pasar global, dan menciptakan lapangan kerja secara professional dan mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Sulandri(2018) dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dan memiliki indikator reaksi, Proses Belajar, Perubahan Perilaku, Hasil, Efektivitas Biaya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa BBPVP sudah berperan cukup efektif dalam mengurangi pengangguran di Kota Medan, tetapi masih ada beberapa indikator yang belum cukup berjalan efektif, dikarenakan adanya beberapa faktor.
