dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dengan turnover intention pada karyawan UD.Union Furniture Medan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 105 karyawan UD.Union Furniture Medan dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 41 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan yang negatif antara komitmen organisasi terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan UD. Union Furniture Medan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala komitmen organisasi dan skala turnover intention yang diukur dengan menggunakan bentuk skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Korelasi Product Moment. Berdasarkan uji korelasi product moment diketahui adanya hubungan yang negatif antara komitmen organisasi terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan UD. Union Furniture Medan yakni dengan asumsi semakin tinggi tingkat komitmen organisasi karyawan maka turnover intention semakin rendah atau sebaliknya, jika semakin rendah tingkat komitmen organisasi karyawan maka turnover intention semakin tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi korelasi p = 0,028<0,05, artinya ada hubungan negatif antara komitmen organisasi dengan turnover intention pada karyawan UD. Union Furniture Medan, dengan koefisien determinan (r2) sebesar 0,118 atau 11,8%. Dengan kata lain, hipotesis diterima. Komitmen organisasi tergolong sedang (mean empiric = 73,219 > mean hipotetik = 55 dimana selisihnya lebih dari bilangan SD = 9,834 dan untuk turnover intention tergolong tinggi (mean empiric = 82,19 > mean hipotetik = 62,5 dimana selisihnya lebih dari bilangan SD = 7,110). This study aims to determine the relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention among UD. Union Furniture Medan employees. The population of this study were 105 employees of UD.Union Furniture Medan and the sample in this study was 41 people, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The hypothesis used in this study is that there is a negative relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention among UD employees. Union Furniture Medan. This research method uses quantitative methods. Data collection uses an organizational commitment scale and a turnover intention scale which is measured using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is Product Moment Correlation. Based on the product moment correlation test, it is known that there is a negative relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention among UD employees. Union Furniture Medan, that is, with the assumption that the higher the level of employee organizational commitment, the lower the turnover intention or vice versa, if the lower the level of employee organizational commitment, the higher the turnover intention. The results showed a significant correlation value p =0.028 <0.05, meaning that there is a negative relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention among UD employees. Union Furniture Medan, with a determinant coefficient (r2) of 0.118 or 11.8%. In other words, the hypothesis is accepted. Organizational commitment is moderate (empirical mean = 73.219 > hypothetical mean = 55 where the difference is more than SD = 9,834 and for turnover intention is classified as high (empirical mean = 82,19 > hypothetical mean = 62,5 where the difference is more than the SD number = 7,110).en_US
