Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan coping stres pada siswa MAS Darul Ikhlas ditinjau dari kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Coping stress adalah usaha yang dilakukan individu untuk mencari jalan keluar dari masalah baik usaha sehat maupun tidak sehat, positif maupun negatif, usaha kesadaran atau ketidaksadaran agar dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan yang terjadi sehingga dapat membebaskan diri dari masalah yang nyata maupun tidak nyata. Kepribadian adalah sesuatu yang terdapat dalam diri individu yang mengarahkan dan membimbing individu tersebut kepada seluruh tingkah laku yang bersangkutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Mas Darul Ikhlas. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik total sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 170 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data screening test untuk melihat tipe kepribadian dan diperoleh 90 orang siswa memiliki kepribadian ekstrovert dan 80 orang siswa memiliki tipe kepribadian introvert. Metode skala coping stres untuk melihat coping stres yand dilakukan oleh siswa. Berdasarkan hasil ini berarti hipotesis yang diajukan yang berbunyi ada perbedaan coping stres ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian, dinyatakan ditolak. Kepribadian ekstrovert yang berfokus pada emotion focused coping sebanyak 60 orang siswa ataupun sebesar 53.57%, dan yang berfokus pada problem focused coping sebanyak 30 orang siswa ataupun 51.2%. Kepribadian introvert yang berfokus pada emotion focused coping sebanyak 52 orang siswa ataupun sebesar 46.43%, dan yang berfokus pada problem focused coping sebanyak 28 orang siswa atau 48.28%. This study aims to look at the differences in stress coping in Darul Ikhlas MAS students in terms of extroverted and introverted personalities. Coping stress is an effort made by individuals to find a way out of problems, both healthy and unhealthy, positive and negative, conscious or unconscious efforts to adjust to the changes that occur so that they can free themselves from real and unreal problems. Personality is something that is contained within the individual that directs and guides the individual to all the behavior concerned. This research was conducted at Mas Darul Ikhlas. The approach in this study used quantitative methods. The data collection technique used a total sampling technique, with a total sample of 170 students. The data collection method was screening test to see personality and it was found that 90 students had extroverted personality types and 80 students had introverted personality. The coping stress scale method is to see the coping stress carried out by students. Based on these results, it means that the hypothesis proposed which reads that there are differences in coping with stress in terms of personality, is declared rejected. Extroverted personality who focused on emotion focused coping were 60 students or 53.57%, and those who focused on problem focused coping were 30 students or 51.2%. Introverted personality who focused on emotion focused coping were 52 students or 46.43%, and those who focused on problem focused coping were 28 students or 48.28%.
