Abstract: Artikel atau tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan impulsive buying pada mahasiswi pengguna e-commerce shopee. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Sebjek penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswi Universitas Medan Area stambuk 2021 kelas A pengguan e-commerce shopee dengan populasi yang berjumlah 210 0rang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 71 orang mahasiswi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini menunjukkan koefisien korelasi 𝑟sy sebesar –o,652 dan P=0,004 (p < 0,010) yang menunjukan semakin rendah kontrol diri maka semakin tinggi impulsive buying, atau sebaliknya. Dari hasil analisis peneliian ini diketahui bahwa mahasisiwa pengguna e-commerce shopee memiliki impulsive buying yang tinggi dan control diri yang rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai standar deviasi impulsive buying sebesar 4,451, dan nilai mean empirik = 52,89, dan mean hipotetik = 47,5. Selain itu, nilai standar deviasi kontrol diri sebesar 7,629, nilai mean empirik = 58,65, dan mean hipotetik = 45. Adapun koefisien determinasi ditemukan 𝑟2 = 0,390 yang berarti kontrol diri rendah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 39% terhadap impulsive buying pengguna shopee. This article or writing aims to determine the relationship between self-control and impulsive buying among female students using Shopee e-commerce. This research uses quantitative research methods. The subjects of this research are students at the University of Medan Area standard 2021 class A using Shopee e-commerce with a population of 210 people. The sample used in this research was 71 female students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of data analysis in this study show that the correlation coefficient 𝑟sy is –o.652 and P=0.004 (p < 0.010) which shows that the lower self-control, the higher the impulsive buying, or vice versa. From the results of this research analysis, it is known that students who use Shopee e-commerce have high impulsive buying and low self-control. This can be seen from the standard deviation value for impulsive buying of 4.451, and the empirical mean = 52.89, and the hypothetical mean = 47.5. Apart from that, the standard deviation value of self-control is 7.629, the empirical mean value = 58.65, and the hypothetical mean = 45. The coefficient of determination was found to be 𝑟2 = 0.390, which means low self-control contributes 39% to the impulsive buying of Shopee users.
