dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa SMA kelas XI di SMA Negeri 14 Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 14 Medan yang berjumlah 350 siswa, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 70 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik simpel random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi yaitu uji normalitas dan uji linearitas serta uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik dengan nilai signifikansi korelasi p = 0,031 < 0,05 yang artinya ada hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 14 Medan. Hal ini didasarkan pada nilai pearson correlation sebesar -257 dan nilai sig. 0,031. Kontol diri memberikan sumbangan efektif pada prokrastinasi akademik sebesar 6,6% dan selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. This study aims to look at the correlation between self-control and academic procrastination in class XI high school students at SMA Negeri 14 Medan. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 14 Medan, totaling 350 students, and the sample in this study amounted to 70 students, with the sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used the assumption test, namely the normality test and linearity test and the hypothesis test used the product moment correlation. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between self-control and academic procrastination with a significance value of correlation p = 0.031 <0.05, which means that there was a negative relationship between self-control and academic procrastination in class XI students at SMA Negeri 14 Medan. This is based on the Pearson correlation value of -257 and the sig. 0.031. Self control makes an effective contribution to academic procrastination by 6.6% and the rest is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. | en_US |
