dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan resiliensi akademik pada mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area. Resiliensi akademik merupakan kapasitas yang dimiliki seseorang untuk bangkit, pulih, dan mampu beradaptasi meskipun dalam kesulitan, dan mengembangkan kompetensi sosial, akademik dan keterampilan untuk dapat menghilangkan stress yang dihadapinya selama belajar. Dukungan keluarga merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi reseliensi akademik seseorang. Hipotesis penelitian menyatakan adanya hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan resiliensi akademik pada mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun sripsi di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 41 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan penggunaan skala model likert. Analisis data menggunakan analisis pearson product moment correlation. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial keluarga dengan resiliensi akademik pada mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig. 0,001 < 0,050 dan r hitung 0,482 > 0,3081. Adanya korelasi sedang antara variabel X dengan variabel Y. Variabel Y dipengaruhi oleh variabel X sebesar 23,2%. Serta dukungan keluarga dan resiliensi akademik pada mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi dalam kateori tinggi. Dari hasil penelitian ini, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and academic resilience in students which are preparing their thesis at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Medan Area. Academic resilience is a person's capacity to rise, recover, and be able to adapt despite difficulties, and develop social, academic competence and skills to be able to relieve the stress they face while studying. Family support is one of the factors that influence one's academic resilience. The research hypothesis states that there is a relationship between family support and academic resilience in students who are preparing their thesis at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Medan Area. The research sample was 41 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with the use of the Likert model scale. Data analysis used pearson product moment correlation analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between family support and academic resilience in students who are preparing their thesis as evidenced by the Sig. 0.001 < 0.050 and r count 0.482 > 0.3081. There is a moderate correlation between variable X and variable Y. Variable Y is influenced by variable X by 23.2%. As well as family support and academic resilience for students who are preparing their thesis in the high category. From the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is declared accepted.en_US
