This research aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment is an employee's desire for the organization, which is reflected in their high involvement in achieving organizational goals. Researchers have compiled organizational commitment based on aspects of organizational commitment according to Allen and Mayer (2011), namely Affective Commitment, Continuance Commitment, Normative Commitment. This research approach is a quantitative approach with a type of regression analysis. The hypothesis proposed in this research is that there is a positive influence between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The research subjects taken were 40 people. The sampling technique is probability sampling, namely the Total Sampling technique. The measuring tool used is job satisfaction and organizational commitment using a Likert scale. This research data processing uses simple linear regression analysis techniques. The research results show a correlation of 0.526 with p < 0.000, this means there is a significant positive correlation between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of PT employees. First Prosper Diamond. With a determinant coefficient (r2) value of 0.277, with a contribution of 27.7%, in other words, the hypothesis is accepted. Job satisfaction is classified as low (empirical mean = 56.38 < hypothetical mean = 67.5 where the difference is more than SD = 8.575), and for Organizational Commitment it is classified as Medium (empirical mean = 62.20 < Hypothetical mean 72.5 where the difference is more from the SD number = 11.427).en_US
