dc.description.abstractArtikel atau tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas dengan keputusan pembelian online di tiktok pada mahasiswa psikologi di Universitas Medan Area. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu pengguna tiktok di Universita Medan Area. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukkan koefisien korelasi 𝑟xy sebesar 0,547 dan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan semakin rendah keputusan pembelian, maka semakin rendah tingkat keputusan pembelian, atau sebaliknya. Dari hasil analisis data penelitian ini diketahui bahwa mahasiswa pengguna tiktok memiliki tingkat keputusan pembelian yang rendah dan konformitas yang rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai standar deviasi keputusan pembelian sebesar 5,373, dan nilai mean empirik = 50,24, dan mean hipotetik = 57,5. Selain itu, nilai standar deviasi konformitas sebesar 4,005, nilai mean empirik = 50,35, dan mean hipotetik = 55. Adapun koefisien determinasi ditemukan 𝑟² = 0,299 yang berarti konformitas rendah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 29,9% terhadap tingkat keputusan pembelian pengguna tiktok di Universitas Medan Area. This article or writing aims to determine the relationship between conformity and online purchasing decisions on TikTok for psychology students at Medan Area University. This study uses quantitative research methods. The subjects in this study were tiktok users at Medan Area University. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate a correlation coefficient 𝑟xy of 0.547 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which indicates that the lower the purchasing decision, the lower the level of purchasing decisions, or vice versa. From the results of data analysis in this study, it is known that students who use tiktok have a low level of purchasing decisions and low conformity. This can be seen from the standard deviation value of purchasing decisions of 5.373, and the empirical mean value = 50.24, and the hypothetical mean = 57.5. In addition, the standard deviation value of conformity is 4.005, the empirical mean value = 50.35, and the hypothetical mean = 55. The coefficient of determination was found to be 𝑟² = 0.299, which means that low conformity contributed 29.9% to the level of purchasing decisions of tiktok users at Medan Area University.en_US
