dc.description.abstractArtikel atau tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self esteem terhadap perilaku dating violence pada dewasa awal di Universitas Negeri Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik regresi linear sederhana. Dating Violence didefinisikan sebagai kekerasan fisik, seksual, emosional atau psikologis yang dapat mempengaruhi perasaan, perilaku dan kondisi fisik korban di dalam suatu hubungan yang belum terikat pernikahan atau disebut dengan dating . Self esteem adalah penilaian yang dilakukan secara individu mengenai perasaan berarti atau berharga terhadap dirinya sendiri dengan kata lain self esteem ialah bagaimana seorang individu memandang dirinya sendiri. Kajian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara Self Esteem dengan Dating Violence pada dewasa awal di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Medan. Berdasarkan analisis pengaruh teknik regresi linear sederhana, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif antara Self Esteem dan dating Violence. Hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari nilai koefisien regresi linear sederhana, dengan nilai rxy -0,638 dengan signifikan p 0,000 0,05 yang mendukung dari penulisan ini. variabel Dating Violence berbanding lurus terhadap Dating Violence pada dewasa awal. Dari penelitian ini juga dapat diketahui koefisien determinan (r2) 0,408, dimana Self Esteem berkontribusi besar 40,8% terhadap Dating Violence. This article or writing aims to determine the influence of self-esteem on dating violence behavior in early adulthood at Medan State University. This research is a form of descriptive quantitative research. The data analysis technique used in the research is a simple linear regression technique.Dating Violence is defined as physical, sexual, emotional or psychological violence that can affect the feelings, behavior and physical condition of the victim in a relationship that is not yet married or known asdating . Self esteem is an assessment made individually regarding feelings of significance or worth towards oneself in other wordsself esteem is how an individual views himself. This study can be concluded that there is an influence between Self Esteem and Dating Violence in early adulthood at the Faculty of Education, Medan State University. Based on analysis of the influence of simple linear regression techniques, it shows that there is a positive correlation between Self Esteem and dating violence. This can be seen from the simple linear regression coefficient value, with an rxy value of -0.638 with a significant p of 0.000 - 0.05 which supports this writing. The Dating Violence variable is directly proportional to Dating Violence in early adulthood. From this research it can also be seen that the determinant coefficient (r2) is 0.408, where Self Esteem contributes 40.8% to Dating Violence.en_US
