dc.description.abstract | Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan work life balance dengan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah karyawan PT. Telekomunikasi (Telkom) Pematangsiantar sebanyak 55 karyawan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif korelasi yaitu untuk melihat hubungan antara dua variable atau lebih. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Korelasi-Product Moment. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis r product moment dengan nilai atau koefisien koefisien korelasi rxy = 0.707; p (0,000) < 0,500. Ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggi work life balance, maka semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja dan sebaliknya semakin rendah work life balance, maka semakin rendah kepuasan kerja. Dengan demikian maka hipotesis yang telah diajukan dalam penelitian ini, dinyatakan diterima. Work life balance mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja. kerja yang dimiliki karyawan berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diketahui dipengaruhi oleh work life balance dengan kontribusi sebesar 50%. Dimana dengan hasil itu menyatakan bahwa kontribusi work life balance sangat membuat kepuasan kerja di kantor tersebut berhubungan positif, dimana jika karyawan memiliki work life balance yang baik maka kepuasan kerja akan meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini juga diketahui bahwa masih terdapat kontribusi sebesar 50% yang bisa dilihat dari faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti seperti faktor internal seperti faktor fisik karyawan. Hasil lain yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa kepuasan kerja yang dimiliki subjek penelitian ini, yakni karyawan PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Pematangsiantar dinyatakan tinggi sebab nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh, yakni 105,18 selisihnya dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik sebesar 80 yang melebihi bilangan SD yang besarnya 9,153. Selanjutnya untuk variabel work life balance, nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh sebesar 74,56 maka dinyatakan work life balance karyawan tinggi. This article aims to determine the relationship between work life balance and job satisfaction among employees. The subjects in the study were employees of PT. Telecommunications (Telkom) Pematangsiantar with 55 employees. The method used in this study is a quantitative correlation method, namely to see the relationship between two or more variables. The data analysis method used is Correlation-Product Moment. Based on the calculation of the r product moment analysis with a value or correlation coefficient rxy = 0.707; p (0.000) < 0.500. This means that the higher the work life balance, the higher the job satisfaction and conversely the lower the work life balance, the lower the job satisfaction. Thus, the hypothesis that has been proposed in this study, declared accepted. Work life balance affects job satisfaction. based on the results of this study, it is known that the work life balance is affected by the work life balance with a contribution of 50%. Where with the results it states that the contribution of work life balance really makes job satisfaction in the office positively related, where if employees have a good work life balance then job satisfaction will increase. Based on the results of this study it is also known that there is still a contribution of 50% which can be seen from other factors not examined such as internal factors such as physical factors of employees. Other results obtained from this study, it is known that the job satisfaction of the subjects of this study, namely employees of PT. Telecommunications Indonesia Pematangsiantar is declared high because the empirical average value obtained, which is 105.18, is the difference with the hypothetical average value of 80 which exceeds the SD number which is 9.153. Furthermore, for the work life balance variable, the empirical average value obtained is 74.56, it is stated that the employee work life balance is high. | en_US |
