Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Antara Persepsi Gaya Kepemimpinan dengan Work Engagement pada Pegawai Dinas Pariwisata Kota Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 85 Pegawai dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 168 Pegawai. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan aspek Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Work Engagement. Skala Gaya Kepemimpinan berjumlah 32 item, 2 item dinyatakan gugur yaitu item nomor 17 dan 31, sedangkan Skala Work Engagement berjumlah 26 item, 2 item dinyatakan gugur yaitu item nomor 4 dan 24 Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Anaslisis data menggunakan uji Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian didapati bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara Persepsi Gaya Kepemimpinan dengan Work Engagement yang berarti semakin baik persepsi gaya kepemimpinan maka semakin tinggi tingkat Work Engagement dan sebaliknya jika semakin buruk persepsi Persepsi Gaya Kepemimpinan maka tingkat Work engagement semakin rendah. Hasil ini dibuktikan Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,867, dengan Signifikan p = 0,000 < 0,01. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat adalah r2 = 0,751 Ini menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan transformational berdistribusi sebesar 75,1% terhadap Work Engagement. Berdasarkan uraian di atas adalah dapat disimpulkan bahwa Persepsi Gaya Kepemimpinan tergolong tinggi. Selanjutnya Work Engagement tergolong tinggi. This study purpose to determine the correlation between perceived leadership style and work engagement in Medan City Tourism Office employees. This research is astudy by taking a sample of 85 employees with a total population of 168 employees. Data collection methods using aspects of Leadership Style and Work engagement. The Leadership Style Scale amounted to 32 items, 2 items were declared invalid, namely item numbers 17 and 31, while the Work engagement Scale amounted to 26 items, 2 items were declared invalid, namely item numbers 4 and 24 The research method uses a quantitative approach. Data analysis using the Product Moment Correlation test. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between perceived leadership style and work engagement, which means that the better the perception of leadership style, the higher the level of work engagement and vice versa, the worse the perception of perceived leadership style, the lower the level of work engagement. This result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.867, with a significant p = 0.000 <0.01. The coefficient of determination (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2 = 0.751 This shows that transformational leadership distributes 75.1% to Workengagement. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the Perception of Leadership Style is high. Furthermore, Work engagement is high.
