Nilai rata-rata empirik konsep diri = 108,21 sedangkan nilai rata-rata hipotetiknya sebesar = 95 sehingga variabel kosep diri tergolong positif, begitu pula dengan nilai rata-rata empirik kepercayaan diri = 81,92 sedangkan nilai rata-rata hipotetiknya sebesar = 72,5 sehingga variabel kepercayaan diri tergolong sedang/menuju tinggi. This research aims to see the corelations between self-concept and self-confidence in students SMP Swasta Cinta Damai percut. The sample in this study were all students of SMP Swasta Cinta Damai Percut totaling 79 people. The sampling technique uses Total Sampling. This research method uses quantitative methods. In this study, data collection used a self-concept scale and self-confidence scale which was measured using a Likert scale. With the reliability coefficient of self-concept with the Cronbach Alpha formula of 0,928 and the reliability coefficient of self-confidence with the Cronbach Alpha formula of 0,921.The data analysis technique uses the Korelast Product Moment technique. Based on data analysis, it showed that there was no positive relationship between self- concept and student self- confidence (the results showed a significant correlation value p=0,570>0,05), meaning that there was no relationship between self-concept and student self-confidence at SMP Swasta Cinta Damai Percut. With a determinant coefficient (r2) of 0,004 or 4%. In other words, the hypothesis is not accepted. The empirical average value of self-concept =108,21 while the hypothetical average value is = 95 so that the self-concept variable mean self-confidence is = 81,92 while the average hypotical value is = 72,5 so that the self-confidence variabel is classified as medium/towards high.en_US
