This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on adversity quotient in State Police School students in Hinai-Langkat. Adversity quotient (AQ) is a person's ability to deal with problems that are considered difficult by persisting and trying to solve them as well as possible and making difficulties as challenges as well as opportunities. Adversity quotient was measured using a scale developed by Stoltz based on the elements of AQ (CO2RE), namely C = Control, O2 = Origin and Ownership, R = reach, E = Endurance (endurance). The hypothesis put forward is that there is an effect of self-efficacy on adversity quotient in students. The sampling technique used the total sampling technique, a sample of 147 students. The data collection method in this study uses a scale, namely the self-efficacy scale and the adversity quotient scale. Data analysis technique using simple regression analysis. Based on the data analysis performed, the determinant result (rxy) = 0.645 is obtained with p = 0.000 <0.050, meaning that there is a positive influence between self-efficacy on the adversity quotient in students, the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the adversity quotient in students. This is shown by the magnitude of the determinant coefficient (r2) of 0.681, indicating that self-efficacy contributes to the adversity quotient of 68.1%.en_US
