Abstract: Kenaikan harga minyak goreng di Pasar Rakyat Perbaungan, Kecamatan Perbaungan, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, mulai dirasakan masyarakat sejak Oktober 2021 – April 2022. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sikap masyarakat terhadap kenaikan harga minyak yang terjadi di Pasar Rakyat Perbaungan. Metode analisis yang di gunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : dengan adanya kenaikan harga minyak goreng yang terjadi menimbulkan suatu sikap masyarakat terhadap kenaikan harga minyak goreng. Sikap tersebut di antaranya: beralih membeli Minyak Goreng Curah, menggunakan Minyak Goreng secara berulang, perbanyakan masakan Non goreng, mengatur penggunaan Minyak Goreng, mengurangi memasak makanan yang di goreng dan beralih menggunakan barang substitusi dari minyak goreng. Dari keenam sikap masyarakat tersebut hasil penelitian persentase tertinggi ada pada 4 sikap yaitu beralih membeli Minyak Goreng Curah, menggunakan Minyak Goreng secara berulang, mengatur penggunaan Minyak Goreng, dan mengurangi memasak makanan yang di goreng. The increase in the price of cooking oil at the Perbaungan People’s Market, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, began to be felt by the public from October 2021 – April 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine people’s attitudes towards the increase in oil prices that occurred at the Perbaungan People’s Market. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study show that: with the increase in cooking oil prices that occur, it creates a public attitude towards rising cooking oil prices. These attitudes include: switching to buying Bulk Cooking Oil, using Cooking Oil repeatedly, increasing non-fried dishes, regulating the use of Cooking Oil, reduce fried food, and switching to using substitutes for cooking oil. The six attitudes of the community, the highest percentage research results were in 4 attitudes, namely switching to buying Bulk Cooking Oil, using Cooking Oil repeatedly, regulating the use of Cooking Oil, and reduce cooking fried foods.
