Abstract: | Keputusan konsumen adalah suatu pendekatan penyelesaian masalah pada kegiatan manusia untuk membeli barang dalam memenuhi keinginan dan kebutuhannya sehari-hari yang ada pada pasar tradisional (Pasar Bakti) dan pasar modern (Irian Supermarket). Pasar tradisional dan pasar modern ini memiliki perbedaan baik dari lingkungan, kondisi pasar, serta adanya kekurangan dan kelebihan dari kedua pasar tersebut yang menimbulkan perbedaan persepsi konsumen sehingga adanya proses dalam pengambilan keputusan yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui bagaimana karakteristik konsumennya dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusannya. Lokasi penelitian di Pasar Bakti terletak di Jl. Arief Rahman Hakim No. 71, Tegal Sari II, Medan Area dan Irian Supermarket yang terletak di jalan HM. Joni No. 47-46, Teladan Timur. Penentuan lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive (sengaja). Jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampelnya adalah teknik accidental sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen di pasar tardisional yaitu harga, pelayanan, dan lokasi. Sedangkan pada pasar modern adalah gaya hidup, kualitas produk, dan harga. Faktor-faktor yang tidak mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen secara signifikan pada pasar tradisional adalah kualitas produk dan gaya hidup, sedangkan pada pasar modern adalah lokasi dan pelayanan. Consumer decision is a problem-solving approach to human activities to buy goods to fulfill their daily wants and needs in traditional markets (Pasar Bakti) and modern markets (Irian Supermarket). Traditional markets and modern markets have differences both in terms of environment, market conditions, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the two markets which lead to differences in consumer perceptions resulting in different decision-making processes. This study aims to be able to find out how the characteristics of consumers and the factors that influence their decisions. The research location at Bakti Market is located on Jl. Arief Rahman Hakim No. 71, Tegal Sari II, Medan Area and Irian Supermarket which are located on Jalan HM. Joni No. 47-46, Eastern Example. Determining the location of this research was carried out using a purposive method (intentionally). The number of samples is 100 respondents with the sampling technique is accidental sampling technique. The results obtained from this study are the factors that influence consumer decisions in traditional markets are price, service, and location. Whereas in the modern market are lifestyle, product quality, and price. Factors that do not significantly affect consumer decisions in traditional markets are product quality and lifestyle, while those in modern markets are location and service. |
