Efektivitas Komunikasi Publik Pejabat Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumentasi Lembaga Penyiaran Publik Radio Republik Indonesia Medan dalam Penyebaran Informasi di Instagram

Abstract

Petugas Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumentasi (PPID) dibentuk berdasarkan Pasal 1 Peraturan Direktur Utama No.4/2016 tentang Pedoman Pengelolaan dan Pelayanan Informasi di lingkungan LPP RRI. Instagram sebagai alternatif diseminasi informasi dari situs web yang dipilih PPID RRI Medan karena yang paling popular dengan kelebihan- kezalebihannya, namun secara pengemasan yang kurang menarik membuat peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui Efektivitas dari. Peneliti menggunakan Teori Uses and Effect milik Svan Windahl (1979) yakni: Efek, Konsekuensi dan Konsefek). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa keberadaan Instagram PPID dikatakan efektif dan membawa perubahan bagi RRI Medan. Ketiga indikator dalam Teori Uses and Effect yakni Efek, Konsekuensi dan Konsefek mewakili tujuan PPID RRI yaitu mengajak masyarakat untuk memperkenalkan PPID kepada masyarakat untuk mengunjungi website PPID. The Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) was formed based on Article 1 of Main Director Regulation No.4/2016 concerning Guidelines for Information Management and Services within the RRI LPP. Instagram as an alternative for information dissemination from the website was chosen by PPID RRI Medan because it is the most popular with its advantages, but the less attractive packaging makes researchers interested in finding out the effectiveness of it. Researchers used Svan Windahl's (1979) Uses and Effect Theory: Effect, Consequence and Consequence). The method used is a descriptive qualitative method and data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the existence of Instagram PPID is said to be effective and brings change to RRI Medan. The three indicators in the Uses and Effect Theory, represent the aim of PPID RRI, namely inviting the public to introduce PPID to the public to visit the PPID website.
