dc.description.abstractBeberapa hal yang menjadi masalah cukup berat bagi para single mother adalah mengurus anak-anak seorang diri, dan pada saat bersamaan mereka harus bekerja untuk mendapatkan penghasilan guna memenuhi kebutuhan hidup seharihari. Meskipun menjadi single mother sangatlah berat, namun mereka juga memiliki kebahagiaan sebagai seorang single mother. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran subjective well-being pada single mother yang bekerja. Desain penelitian ini adalah fenomenologis. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga orang dengan tiga orang informan sebagai sumber triangulasi. Teknik pengambilan data responden menggunakan purposive sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden dapat merasakan subjective well-being. Untuk aspek subjective well-being, ketiga responden juga dapat merasakan kepuasan hidup, karena lebih banyak muncul afeksi positif. Faktor internal juga sangat mempengaruhi, sehingga responden memiliki subjective well-being yang cukup tinggi dimana ketiga responden memiliki kepribadian yang tangguh dalam menjalani hidup, memiliki prinsip bahwa mereka pasti bisa memperjuangkan anak-anaknya, serta memiliki keimanan yang kuat. Dukungan dari anak-anak, dari keluarga, serta dukungan sosial yang merupakan faktor ekternal juga sangat mempengaruhi tingginya subjective well-being pada ketiga responden. Some of the things that are quite a problem for single mothers are taking care of their children alone, and at the same time they have to work to earn income to meet their daily needs. Even though being a single mother is very hard, they also have happiness as a single mother. This study aims to describe the subjective wellbeing of working single mothers.The research design is phenomenological. The number of respondents in this study were three people with three informants as a source of triangulation. The technique of taking respondent using purposive sampling. Research data was collected through observation and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results of the study show that respondents can feel subjective well-being. For the subjective well-being aspect, the three respondents can also feel life satisfaction also feel life satisfaction, because more positive affect appears. Internal factors also greatly influence, so that the respondent has a fairly high subjective well-being where the three respondents have a strong personality in living life, have the principle that they can definitely fight for their children, and have strong faith. Support from children, as well as social support which is an external factor also greatly influences the high subjective well-being of the three respondents.en_US
