Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui proses pembuatan spesimen uji tarik material biokomposit poli asam laktat terisi partikel serat pisang dengan penambahan bahan penyerasi (2) mengetahui proses pengujian spesimen uji tarik material biokomposit poli asam laktat terisi serat pisang dengan penambahan bahan penyerasi (3) menganalisis sifat mekanikal hasil uji tarik material biokomposit poli asam laktat terisi partikel serat pisang dengan penambahan penyerasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan observasi spesimen komposit. Alat uji yaitu universisal Testing machine standart ASTM dan bahan baku yang digunakan yaitu poli asam laktat, partikel serat pisang, maleat anhidrida grafting polypropylene. Hasil penelitian ini ialah penambahan bahan penyerasi terhadap sifat kekuatan tarik memberikan pengaruh baik secara signifikan meningkatkan kekuatan tarik. Terhadap sifat regangan penambahan penyerasi dan pengisi menurunkan sifat perpanjangan komposit. Terhadap sifat modulus elastisitas mengalami peningkatan disebabkan bahan pengisi kurang beraglomerasi sehingga meningkatnya dispersi bahan pengisi didalam matriks dan meningkatkan ikatan antar muka antara pengisi dan matriks komposit. The aims of this study were (1) to know the process of making tensile test specimens of poly lactic acid biocomposite material filled with banana fiber particles with the addition of compatibilizing agent (2) know the process of testing tensile test specimens of lactic acid poly biocomposite materials filled with banana fiber with the addition of compatibilizing agent (3) analyzed the mechanical properties of the results of the tensile test of poly lactic acid biocomposite material filled with banana particles with the addition of compatibilizing agent. The method used is to observe composite specimens. The test equipment is the ASTM standard universal Testing machine and the raw materials used are lactic acid poly, banana fiber particles, maleic anhydride grafting polypropylene. The results of this study are that the addition of compatibilizing agent to the tensile strength properties has a significant positive effect on increasing the tensile strength. To the strain properties the addition of coordinators and fillers decreases the elongation properties of the composite. The modulus of elasticity has increased due to less agglomeration of the filler material resulting in increased dispersion of the filler in the matrix and increased interfacial bond between the filler and the composite matrix.
