dc.description.abstractMesin mixer ini memiliki prinsip kerjanya adalah melelehkan dan mengaduk untuk mencampur material biji plastik dengan serbuk karbon aktif sehingga mencapai pencampuran yang homogen, kerja mesin berupa putaran motor yang di transmisikan ke gearbox kemudian menggerakan rotor/mata pisau dengan dua arah putaran yang berlawanan. Dalam proses pelelehan biji plastik menggunakan elemen pemanas listrik Cartridge Heater. Suhu elemen pemanas tersebut adalah 200ºC-300°C. Pelelehan dan Pencampuran biji plastik menggunakan variasi putaran yang berbeda 25,50,75 rpm. Tujuan dari pengaturan suhu yang berbeda itu untuk dilakukan analisis energi pelelehan dan pencampuran biji plastik dan karbon aktif yang terjadi pada mesin internal mixer di masing-masing suhu dan putaran mata pisau. Hasil analisa dan pembahasan energi pelelehan biji plastik dan pencampuran karbon aktif yang diuji pada suhu 200ºC, energi pelelehan biji plastik putaran 75 rpm sebesar 0,126 W, energi pencampuran putaran 75 rpm sebesar 3,655 W. Pada suhu 250ºC energi pelelehan putaran 75 rpm sebesar 0,293 W. energi pencampuran putaran 75 rpm sebesar 4,701 W, Pada suhu 300ºC energi pelelehan putaran 50 rpm sebesar 0,570 W. energi pencampuran putaran 25 dan 50 rpm sebesar 5,260 W. This mixer machine has a working principle of melting and stirring to mix the plastic seed material with activated carbon powder so as to achieve homogeneous mixing. The work of the machine is in the form of motor rotation, which is transmitted to the gearbox, which then moves the rotor or blade in two opposite rotation directions. In the process of melting plastic pellets using an electric heating element, a cartridge heater is used. The temperature of the heating element is 200°C–300°C. Melting and mixing of plastic pellets using different rotation variations of 25, 50, and 75 rpm. The purpose of setting the different temperatures is to analyze the energy balance that occurs in the internal mixer machine at each temperature. The results of the analysis and discussion of the calorific value of melting the plastic pellets and stirring the activated carbon were tested at a temperature of 200 ºC; the energy for melting the plastic pellets at 75 rpm was 0,126 W, and the energy for stirring at 75 rpm was 3,655 W. At a temperature of 250 ºC ,the energy for melting at 75 rpm is 0,293 W. The energy of stirring at 75 rpm is 4,701 W. At 300 ºC,the energy of melting at 50 rpm is 0,570 W. The energy of stirring at 25 and 50 rpm is 5,260 W.en_US
