Abstract: Kopi menjadi salah satu komoditi unggulan dalam sektor perkebunan Indonesia. Peran komoditas kopi bagi perekonomian Indonesia cukup penting, baik sebagai sumber pendapatan bagi petani kopi, sumber devisa, penghasil bahan baku industri, maupun penyedia lapangan kerja melalui kegiatan pengolahan, pemasaran, dan perdagangan. Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan merupakan sala satu daerah memiliki keunggulan komoditi kopi arabika yang sangat berpotensi untuk di kembangakan. Dari beberapa kecamatan di humbang hasundutan penyumbang kopi arabika terbesar adalah kecamatan Lintong Nihuta. Adapun latar belakang masalah yaitu rendahnya pengembangan usaha tani kopi arabika baik dari secara teknologi maupun pemeliharaaan. Menganalisis perkembangan luas tanam dan produksi Kopi Arabika selama 5 tahun terakhir di Kecamatan Lintong Nihuta. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1. Untuk Mengetahui masalah internal usaha tani Kopi Arabika kopi asal Kecamatan Lintong Nihuta. 2. Untuk Mengetahui masalah eskternal usaha tani Kopi Arabika asal Kecamatan Lintong Nihuta. 3. Merumuskan strategi yang paling sesuai dalam pengembangan usahatani kopi Arabika asal Kecamatan Lintong Nihuta. Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa, Dolok Margu, Desa Tapian Nauli, Desa Sibuntuan Partur, dan desa Parulahan secara purposive sampling. Adapun sampel yang di ambil dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 4 desa. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis dekskriptif sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT . berdasarkan hasil dari analisis SWOT , Kekuatan utama dalamusaha tani kopi arabika asal Kecamatan Lintong Nihuta adalah tersedianya lahan pertanian yaitu sebesar 1.75 Ha - 2 Ha oleh setiap petani kopi, peluang memberikan keuntungan yang besar, ancaman penyakit yang tidak teratasi dengan baik. Coffee is one of the leading commodities in the Indonesian plantation sector. The role of coffee commodities in the Indonesian economy is quite important, both as a source of income for coffee farmers, a source of foreign exchange, a producer of industrial raw materials, and a provider of employment opportunities through processing, marketing and trading activities. Humbang Hasundutan Regency is one of the regions that has the superior commodity of Arabica coffee which has great potential for development. Of the several sub-districts in Humbang Hasundutan, the largest contributor to Arabica coffee is Lintong Nihuta sub-district. The background to the problem is the low level of development of Arabica coffee farming both in terms of technology and maintenance. Analyzing the development of planting area and production of Arabica Coffee over the last 5 years in Lintong Nihuta District. This research aims: 1. To find out the internal problems of the Arabica coffee farming business from Lintong Nihuta District. 2. To find out the external problems of Arabica coffee farming from Lintong Nihuta District. 3. Formulate the most appropriate strategy for developing Arabica coffee farming from Lintong Nihuta District. This research was conducted in the villages, Dolok Margu, Tapian Nauli Village, Sibuntuan Partur Village, and Parulahan Village using purposive sampling. The samples taken in this research were 4 villages. The method used is descriptive analysis while the data analysis used is SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the main strength in the Arabica coffee farming business from Lintong Nihuta District is the availability of agricultural land, namely 1.75 Ha - 2 Ha for each coffee farmer, the opportunity to provide large profits, the threat of disease which is not managed properly.
