dc.description.abstract | Citra merupakan sudut pandang yang berada dalam benak pikiran sesorang terhadap suatu organisasi, perusahaan dan individu. Tujuan Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui usaha AMPI untuk mengubah Citra negatifnya menjadi positif melauii Instagram @ampisumut.Untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi apa yang digunakan Humas dalam merubah citra negatif AMPI SUMUT. Informan penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 anggota AMPI dan 3 masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dan dokumentasi dan Teknik Keabsahan data dan metode wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Hardwood Childs yaitu: Strategi Of Publicity, Strategi Of Persuations, Strategi Of Argumentation,dan Strategi Of Image. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Angkatan Muda Pembaharuan Indonesia Sumatera Utara sangat memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai alat untuk merubah citara negatif yang dimiliki oleh Angakatan Muda Pembaharuan Indonesia Sumatera Utara. This research was conducted to find out AMPI's efforts to change its negative image to become positive through Instagram @ampisumut. To analyze what communication strategies are used by Public Relations in changing the negative image of AMPI SUMUT. The informants for this study consisted of 5 AMPI members and 3 members of the community. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive research, data collection methods using observation and documentation as well as data validation techniques and interview methods. This study uses the Hardwood Childs Theory, namely: Strategy Of Publicity, Strategy Of Persuations, Strategy Of Argumentation, And Strategy Of Image. The results of the conclusion of this study are that the North Sumatra Indonesian Youth Renewal Force greatly utilizes social media as a tool to change the negative image of the North Sumatra Indonesian Renewal Youth Force.
