Abstract: Tanaman stevia (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni) merupakan salah satu tanaman pengganti pemanis alami yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia sebagai pengganti gula impor yang terus meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemberian Benzyl Amino Purine terhadap multiplikasi tunas tanaman stevia secara in vitro. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Non Faktorial dengan 5 kali ulangan dengan konsentrasi 0 ppm (B0); 0,5 ppm (B1); 1 ppm (B2); 1,5 ppm (B3) dan 2 ppm (B4). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pemberian konsentrasi Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) 1 ppm (B2) berpengaruh nyata terhadap multiplikasi tunas tanaman stevia (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni) pada pengamatan waktu muncul tunas, tinggi tunas, jumlah daun dan persentase tumbuh tunas. Perlakuan konsentrasi 1,5 ppm (B3) berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tunas stevia. The stevia plant (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni) is a substitute for natural sweeteners that has the potential to be developed in Indonesia as a substitute for imported sugar which continues to increase. This study aims to determine the administration of Benzyl Amino Purine to stevia plant shoot multiplication in vitro. This study used a Completely Randomized Non Factorial Design with 5 replications with a concentration of 0 ppm (B0); 0.5 ppm (B1); 1 ppm (B2); 1.5 ppm (B3) and 2 ppm (B4). The results of this study showed that the administration of Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) had a significant effect on the multiplication of stevia plant tuna at 1 ppm (B2) on the time of emergence of tuna, tuna height, number of leaves and proportion of growing tuna. The amount of tuna has no significant effect at a concentration of 1.5 ppm (B3).
