Abstract: | Jagung manis (Zea mays saccaharata Strut L.) merupakan tanaman pangan yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat Indonesia karena memiliki rasa manis dari pada jagung biasa. Rendahnya produksi jagung manis diakibatkan menurunnya produktivitas suatu tanah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan yaitu: 1. Faktor Perlakuan Kompos Solid dengan notasi (S) terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu:S0 = tidak menggunakan solid,S1 = Menggunakan Kompos Solid 10 ton/ha ( 1 kg/plot), S2 = Menggunakan Kompos Solid 20 ton/ha ( 2 kg/plot), S3 = Menggunakan Kompos Solid 30 ton/ha ( 3 kg/plot). 2. Faktor Perlakuan arang sekam padi dengan notasi (C) terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu: C0 = tidak menggunakan arang sekam padi, C1 = menggunakan arang sekam padi 5 ton/ha (1/2 kg/plot), C2 = menggunakan arang sekam padi 10 ton/ha (1 kg/plot), C3 = menggunakan arang sekam padi 15 ton/ha (1 1/2 kg/plot). Hasil Penelitian ini Pemberian pupuk kompos solid berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan warna daun jagung manis akan tetapi tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan jumlah daun, berat tongkol dengan klobot per sampel, berat tongkol dengan klobot per plot, berat tongkol tanpa klobot per sampel dan berat. Pemberian arang sekam berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan warna daun akan tetapi tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap jumlah daun, berat tongkol dengan klobot per sampel, berat tongkol dengan klobot per plot, berat tongkol tanpa klobot per sampel dan berat. Sweet corn (Zea mays sacchaharata Strut L.) is a food crop that is in great demand by Indonesian people because it has a sweeter taste than ordinary corn. The low production of sweet corn is due to the decreased productivity of a land.This research was conducted using a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 treatment factors, namely: 1. Treatment factors for solid compost with the notation (S) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely: S0 = not using solid compost, S1 = using solid compost 10 ton/ha (1 kg/plot), S2 = Using Solid Compost 20 tons/ha (2 kg/plot), S3 = Using Solid Compost 30 tons/ha (3 kg/plot). 2. The treatment factor for rice husk charcoal with the notation (C) consists of 4 treatment levels, namely: C0 = not using rice husk charcoal, C1 = using rice husk charcoal 5 tonnes/ha (1/2 kg/plot), C2 = using charcoal rice husk 10 tonnes/ha (1 kg/plot), C3 = using rice husk charcoal 15 tonnes/ha (1 1/2 kg/plot). The results of this study The application of solid compost had a significant effect on the growth of plant height and leaf color of sweet corn, but did not show a significant effect on the growth of the number of leaves, the weight of the cobs and husks per sample, the weight of the cobs and husks per plot, the weight of the cobs without husks per sample and heavy. The application of rice husk charcoal significantly affected the growth of plant height and leaf color, but did not show a significant effect on the number of leaves, the weight of the cobs and husks per sample, the weight of the cobs and husks per plot, the weight of the cobs without husks per sample and the weight of. |
