Pengaruh Keterlibatan Ayah dalam Pengasuhan dan Regulasi Emosi terhadap Agresivitas Siswa SMP Swasta Al Maksum.

Abstract

Fenomena agresivitas saat ini telah berkembang dan menjadi masalah umum pada remaja yang biasanya berupa kenakalan remaja. Perilaku agresivitas remaja tentu dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan dan regulasi emosi terhadap agresivitas siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 114 siswa kelas VII dan VIII SMP Al Maksum. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) ada pengaruh negatif dan signifikan keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan terhadap agresivitas siswa, dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,000 < 0,05; (2) ada pengaruh negatif dan signifikan regulasi emosi terhadap agresivitas siswa dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,000 < 0,05; (3) ada pengaruh signifikan antara keterlibatan ayah dalam pegasuhan dan regulasi emosi secara simultan terhadap agresivitas siswa. Asumsinya semakin tinggi keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan dan regulasi emosi maka semakin rendah agresivitas siswa, demikian sebaliknya. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan besarnya kontribusi keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan dan regulasi emosi secara simultan terhadap agresivitas siswa adalah sebesar 27,5% sedangkan sisanya 72,5% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar model. The phenomenon of aggressiveness has now developed and become a common problem in adolescents which is usually in the form of juvenile delinquency. Aggressive behavior of adolescents is certainly influenced by many factors. This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of father involvement in parenting and emotional regulation on student aggressiveness. The sample of the study was 114 students of class VII and VIII of SMP Al Maksum. The method used is a survey method. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) there was a negative and significant effect of father involvement in parenting on student aggressiveness (p=0.000); (2) there is a negative and significant effect of emotion regulation on student aggressiveness (p=0.000); (3) there is a significant influence between father's involvement in parenting and emotional regulation simultaneously on the aggressiveness of students. The assumption is that the higher the father's involvement in parenting and the emotional regulation, the lower the student's aggressiveness and conversely. The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the magnitude of the contribution of father involvement in parenting and emotional regulation simultaneously on student aggressiveness is 27.5%, while the remaining 72.5% can be explained by other variables outside the model.
